Dont stop there, Adam, what happens after Sheila attacks Nevill in the kitchen?

The evidence is Nevill gets multiple horrific injuries.

Its the only way it works to explain the Aga burns and Nevill ending up on the chair/scuttle, Jonathen!
Or can you think of any other scenarios that fit?

Maybe there were no Aga burns - took decades for anyone to suggest there were.

if there were perhaps Bamber took long enough for burns to form - it's no less likely than Sheila going crazy with a gun then only using it to batter Nevill - then waiting 3 hours to actually shoot anyone.

In your theory does Sheila also wait 3 hours to shoot her mother and children?

No no, I said Nevill deliberately ended the call, Jonathan!

Bamber said it was cut off - he was clear on that. What circumstances would have made him change from the situation allowing him time to phone Jeremy (who'd be asleep and could not be guaranteed to answer) - to being so urgent he cut off his own call mid-stream?

Is he ever lying against the Aga in your scenario, Adam?

No, Sheila goes upstairs and shoots everyone else while Nevill is unconscious by the Aga, Jonathan.

Nevill didn't cut the call off mid stream, he told JB all that he could at that stage ie, 'please come over, Sheila has gone crazy and has the gun'
Its a wonder Nevill didn't go and open the door to let him in, but I suppose he was anxious to get upstairs.
Or maybe he did unlock the door and Sheila bolted it again later! Pity no fingerprints were taken, such a loss of evidence.

with Nevill incapacitated why do you think she didn't finish him off with the gun - instead waiting 3 hours to do so?

No.

It is not my scenario. It is just following the evidence. Although some things we do not know, such as whether he fired shots 5-8 into Nevill before going back upstairs.

not unlocking the door for Jeremy is a good point - especially when he had time to phone a sleeping man who might take long time to answer - if he even answered at all

But remember Nevill would have been injured, shaken and somewhat confused after coming round again, Jonathan! Maybe it just didn't register to open the door to let JB in, who knows?

Nevill must have felt when Jeremy rang the door bell, he will be able to unbolt the door and let him in.

Yes, it's a good point snow66! makes. Why not run to one of the farm cottages and wake Len Foakes, who would surely have kept the incident in-house, so to speak.
