Fraud cases on TikTok
« on: July 31, 2025, 11:14:AM »
There are videos on TT of claimants going to collect there cheques after fraudulently claiming on insurance.

The man/investigator who greets them is friendly & shows them the cheque. But has a few final questions!

After a few minutes the claimants start getting irritated Then they start getting aggressive as they realise there claim is falling apart.

Eventually they are arrested & hand cuffed. Most put in prison as some of these claims are for over £50,000p.

Interesting seeing what mistakes the claiments made & what the investigator had found out.

Seems the claimants made the claim & the insurance companies agree to pay. The claimants then turn up to collect there cheque.

However the insurance companies had hired a private investigator. He would make the final decision on the cheque after investigating & interviewing.

The claimants receive hand cuffs and prison instead of a cheque.

Not sure if the claimants rejection & arrest should be filmed & put online for the world to see.

They will be getting due punishment by the legal system.

But entertaining!

Optimistic renewing insurance after an accident and hopeing to get away with it.

Other scams are more elaborate but still fail.

Forget how much some of these claims are for. A burglar may have to rob 20 houses to make that sort of money.

Shows what people will do for money.

The rewards are high but so is the punishment.

Maybe the claimants think they have more chance of being successful. Multi million pound companies won't bother checking up on fake insurance claims.

Cyber crime & fraud has been common for decades now.

Previous decades it was more hands on for the criminals. Having to physically attend the scene to commit the crime.

Fraudulent claimants may think the worst that can happen is they won't get the pay out. They are not robbing a bank or shooting anyone.

Some claimants may be law abiding citizens with no criminal history.

However it is right that they are arrested and go to prison. They are pre planned crimes involving a lot of money.

These videos may deter people from trying in future.

The claimants have got a lot of time to change there mind and avoid prosecution.

Even on the day they are due to collect there cheque they could cancel and not attend, saying they made an error. But money talks.

The interviewer is friendly at first and tells them there cheque is on his desk. The claimants become confident & dig in as the interviewer starts probing. Ending in hand cuffs.
