It's the defence's strongest card, Snow, and I don't blame them for playing it. I recall Mike's conversation with Jeremy at Full Sutton, namely that he, Jeremy, was Sheila's accomplice, to which he replied:
"You clever bastard."
I think that's as near the truth as we'll ever get in this case. Sheila had expressed a wish that "
all people are bad and should be killed", but didn't have the robustness to fulfil her wish. Jeremy obliged, though distorted the meaning to a select few, leaving him alone to inherit the estate.
