Given what was being claimed, I suspect it would have been better for the defence if he remained alive.  I do not recall any health issues being mentioned at the time of his interview. But I accept he was not young.

It may be worth considering that he only agreed to an interview because he knew he had limited time?

If it's been dismissed, it rather suggests they didn't think it worthy of consideration, don't you think?

Damn straight it should be,Adam! Is everybody blind?
Over on Red they are claiming the Aga evidence was included in issue 3.

It clearly wasn't considered important enough to stand alone.

'His legal team will also be requesting that Dame Vera Baird, the new Chair of the CCRC,
personally review the conclusions of the PSO'.

They don't want much.

May have been part of 'the disturbance' at the scene ground.

'As well as a robust response to the CCRC itself, Jeremy Bamber’s legal team will be
taking other legal measures, including a judicial review'.

----------

That is a surprise.

I thought you said he'd never give up?

Have to balance a fresh application after a final rejection and longevity as a category A prisoner living in restricted conditions and having the wherewithal to conduct such a feat of championing innocence as time drags on.

I don't believe he will give in and I think he will just start again. But I believe this time was more or less make or break. Just my opinion.

Is this an end to the submission, ngb, or will the CCRC continue to consider the other issues that haven't been looked at yet? eg, the Aga evidence!

The AGA 'theory' isn't evidence.

Especially when they choose to adopt hairbrained theories and push them as facts!

It clearly wasn't considered important enough to stand alone.
I think it should have been a stand alone issue, Jane.
Pairing up the Aga evidence with the claim that the police moved Nevill could spell disaster, if the CT cant prove that Nevill was moved from the Aga, it may follow that the Aga evidence is thrown out along with it!

I may have to get in touch with JB and the CT and reprimand them for the way they have dealt with Philip Boyce's Aga evidence!
Yes, I will ring Bamber and put him straight before it is too late, it will go something like this......
Hello! is that you JB? 'yes its me' , 'who's this'? Oh its Snow66, you may have heard of me? 'No, never heard of you, what do you want? Oh!Well i'll tell you what I want sunshine, If you want to get out anytime soon you better listen good and follow my advice!  'Your advice Snow, about what'?  Why, about the Aga evidence of course boy, if you pair it up with the claim that Nevill was moved from the Aga to the scuttle and cant prove this, then the Aga evidence will be wasted and thrown out too lad!
Why do you think your dad was moved anyway? What's that sonny, it was Yvonne's idea? Nah nah! Dont come that with me laddie, you said in an article that the police moved your dad from the cooker because they feared that his pyjama jacket may have taken on fire!  What? Gallows humour maybe? Nah Jezzer, nobody buys that either!
Anyway, how does the police moving Nevill prove your innocence anyway, squire?? Mm?
Ok now matey, listen up, here's what I want you to do! You get an urgent message sent to the CCRC saying that the Aga burns must have been formed earlier on in proceedings between 12.00-3.00 before your dad phoned you, its the only scenario that fits the crime scene, capiche? Yes, this is when the burns were formed after Sheila knocked your dad out cold, he regained conciousness a few hours later with a fractured skull, that is why he sounded shaken when he phoned you buddy! Nevill then confronted Sheila upstairs before making a hasty retreat back to the kitchen where he was shot to death on the chair/scuttle. The police did not move your dad after entry, Jez!
So, there you are, get this info to the ccrc ASAP! Tell them you were wrong about the police moving Nevill. Then Bobs your uncle, you will have the keys to the door at last!
Pardon? You're happy with that? Good, good!  What's that? You'll get Philip to deliver the evidence tomorow? Very good lad, very good! What? No no, no thanks needed Jez! No thanks needed!
OK, bye for now! Yes, see you on the outside soon Mr Bamber!

.......Yes, that is what I will be saying to JB before it is too late, Jane!
