Wonder what " sophisticated police equipment " he meant

I would have thought it would be quite easy in August to see if someone had clambered out of a window?

It was. The cleaner said 4 fixed items around the kitchen window had been moved.

Bamber entered through the bathroom window. Which he may have left ajar when at supper.

If not he said himself he knew how to get in.

He exited out of the kitchen window. The top handle could be banged into place from outside.

Julie's & the cleaners WS's confirm this.
