Bamber had several months to get used to the rifle.

He didn't have a passion for firearms ( by his own words and others) but was deemed competent

Passion or not. He had several months to get used to the rifle.

Nevill was a game shooting enthusiast, seems Jeremy was introduced to it from an early age but lost interest as he got older.

There's not much to get used to, I'm not denying he couldn't use it.

He decided the job in hand would be easier minus the sights.

It would make him & the rifle more agile.

The silencer would be used as it was a silent massacre attempt.

The other advantage is it made the rifle longer. Meaning the rifle reached across the bed to Nevill better & he could keep his distance from his targets.

Then became interested again in buying a 12 bore automatic shotgun from the Eatons shortly before murdering his family with a lower-powered .22 rifle -

To which AE said " why you don't even shoot" such was the shock of the newly discovered interest.

Jeremy says it was to go clay pigeon shooting with the landlord of the local pub.

I wouldn't be surprised if he also shot a pig and gave it to Christine Bacon!

You've highlighted six instances over a 24 year period of life

I'm going by Bamber and others around him admissions.

You are not thinking it through!

I've highlighted 6 instances that show he had the experience and knowledge to understand a .22 is a low powered firearm and coupled with subsonic ammo is not going to create back spatter as evidenced by soc.

Why would you rely on JB?  He went to prison at the age of 24 he is now still in prison at 64.  Most of his sentence served as Cat A.  I know you see him as some sort of Bear Grylls but I don't.  His lengthy incarceration will have taken its toll.

Who are the others around him whose admissions you refer to.  Afaik those around him pre-prison were not part of the farming/shooting community.

You are plagiarizing my posts by not thinking it through!

Son accompanies father on a shopping trip. Stop the press.

Backspatter is something that firearms experts don't agree on

Are you suggesting Bamber was a firearm expert?

You need to read his police interviews, under caution, as to why he accompanied his father to purchase the rifle/murder weapon.

Experts might disagree on the nuances of back spatter but they would certainly agree that a .22 and sub sonic ammo are not going to generate said matter on the perps person/clothing.

I am saying all the evidence supports the fact JB was experienced and knowledgable enough to understand that a .22 and subsonic ammo are not going to create any sort of mess by way of back spatter hence the found state of the soc.

What does his prison life have to do with it? I am on about his 24 years prior to jail.

What evidence?

That he was experienced and knowledgeable enough about firearms to appreciate that a .22 and subsonic ammo are not going to generate a mess in terms of back spatter.  If you recall this originated from your claim about him washing, changing and wearing overalls.  I said no need because he would appreciate that a .22 and subsonic ammo are about as low powered as you can get and would not generate back spatter on a perps person/clothing.

I'm no mechanic but I know enough about cars as a driver to know that I am not going to burn up someone in a standard Ferrari with me in an unmodified Reliant Robin.

I'm not wasting anymore time going round in circles with you.  You are incapable of thinking anything through!
