That's a good point. Very little mention in the New York article of the conversations Jeremy had with Julie and the escalations in manner of death his family would be subjected to.

He even spoke to Mary Mugford about his family. In a very negative way.

So he can't deny he spoke about & said negative things about his family during the 18 months he was with Julie.

What he has always denied is that he spoke to her about killing them.

Yes, and he walks and talks with Nevill in his prison cell, in the reassurance that "it will all come out in the wash."

So he spoke about his family in a negative way. I'm sure Shelia did the same about June to her friends.

He denies the killings or planning the killings which is the most important part of what Julie alleged.

Yes, seems they are not close at all.

I find those words from DB very telling. Ann Eaton is a very Machiavellian character.

To be honest from his perspective now in his mid sixties it's a " shit or bust mindset" he himself says in the article he's terrified of dying in jail and by the sounds of it his health doesn't sound good. I think he knows this is probably the last crack of the whip. He sounds knackered. Innocent or gulity, he's only seven years off 70, As he gets older I don't think he will have the same energy and vigour he had over the years fighting the case. Especially if more health problems come about.

The 2021 CCRC will rumble on for several more years and then be followed up by a Judicial Review.

Following all that, I don't see how Jeremy can continue to claim that he has "new evidence"

But he refuses to admit any animosity in the familial relationship in the telephone call with Eric Allison. It was the same with David Bain. The suspicion is once one derogatory snippet of information is divulged the whole rotten edifice of deceit would come crashing down, exposing both miscreants for exactly what they are.

Compared to cousin Jeremy she's as pure as the driven snow.

I never saw the relatives as all " sweetness and light"  we are just people at the end of the day.  It is what it is. As Jane has pointed out they were a monetary orientated family. There's evidence of PE up to  shady dealings at N J Bamber post Jeremy's conviction ( BW allegations)

Whether monetary interest in this case was enough to try and put an innocent man away for life in not sure to be honest.

However I get the impression that Nevill was not fond of them. Don't know why.

He's getting older mate, I expect it will wind down as he gets older and gets any health issues.

It's his swan song for me this time around.

He will of course have to be artificial in a sense. He's fighting a miscarriage of justice in his eyes. He is unlikely to try and present himself in a negative light. That's just horses for courses.

Compared to cousin Jeremy she's as pure as the driven snow.

In fairness biggest detriment to his character prior the event was burgling the caravan site.

Smoking weed, growing weed,  are not detriments of character in my opinion. Plenty worse things happen.

Recreational use of drugs is pretty mundane.

The watch story in NZ may have been shady.

Bamber & his supporters will agree he spoke in a negative way about his family to Julie during there 18 months.

It is pointless denying it as he even used to slate his family to MM!

He has always denied speaking about murdering them. The problem here is Julie's WS has a lot of information regarding the massacre she could have only got from Bamber.

That's the other side of the coin. Yes.
