David suggested a fully fit Nevill started phoning Bamber's AM after Sheila started shooting the twins.

Again the defence could not propose this as it is too weak.

A fully fit Nevill would have negated Sheila when she tried to load.

The beginning of the defence and prosecution scenarios are similar -

Someone creeps upstairs.

June and Nevill shot 9 times in & by the bed.

Nevill gets downstairs.

----------

The differences then begin.

None of us know what happened that night. If innocent neither does Jeremy Bamber.

I believe amongst others there's a strong chance this man is wrongly convicted. EP believe they got their man. Ten of the jury agreed. He's been banged up for the last forty years. Time will tell if the submissions to get another coa referral. He has had a successful one in the past. Last time he was shunted out at the first hurdle. Accept the coa judges in 2002 as you say said " the more we looked into the more we believed the jury were right"

It's one of those cases. Time will tell in due course. For a fact we know hes gonna keep at it till he dies. Although I myself believe as stated he may go down the tariff tactic as he's currently in his sixties and life is slipping him by.

Back to case discussion

None knew what happened in that house Adam.

Prosecution case was solely on Julie Mugford and the silencer.

Arlidge himself states it was his strongest aspect. ( Mugford)

If you go by the bullet, body and cartridge locations, it is easy to create a straight forward Bamber scenario.

Things we won't know such as who was shot first or whether Sheila woke mid massacre, would  not have changed the final outcome.

But what better way of placing the crime at her door, than imitating her ineptitude with the weapon? Certainly, there are numerous things which could have/MAY have gone wrong. Other than having to shoot her twice, it all went rather well. Or, more importantly, he was satisfied with his work. It's we who are worried about the "What if's" and "Supposing's" on his behalf in a way he didn't seem to be.

If Bamber was imitating Sheila it's strange why he does not have a few wayward complete misses?

You can draw an inference on what happened once you have enough pieces to the puzzle.

Establishing what happened on the night is rather straightforward.

Establishing who fabricated the silencer and how a conviction was achieved is the more difficult part.

Agree the bullet locations body and cartridge locations tell us lots.

Don't agree that it helps give a straight forward Bamber scenario.

Bamber could have fired 9, 11 or 17 bullets upstairs before Nevill went downstairs.

Depending on whether he shot the twins first and how many times.

What ever he decided, the twins put up no resistance.

What resistance would two little six year old boys offer.

They could have got out of bed. Gone to Sheila, made it difficult for Bamber to pin them down.

But generally June, Sheila, Daniel & Nicholas could not have stopped Bamber. If fully fit and resisting individually or collectivly.

Wonder why he didn't spare the boys if gulity.

The will hadn't been changed. It was all going to Jeremy and Shelia.

Well, because Nicholas and Daniel would have had a claim on the estates through their mother, if left alive.
