Ostensibly because he fancied himself as the gentleman farmer or Country Squire, which in his case would be barking orders at others whilst doing very little work himself.

Throughout her childhood and adolescence, the same with Bamber. Their father was a gun enthusiast from 1950.

Why does Nevill being an enthusiast correlate with Sheila being such?

Bamber himself wasn't a gun enthusiast, so why should Sheila have any interest?

I wonder if he had bespoke shooting gear? I don't recall seeing him dressed in typical country clothes.

I have spoken to several people who are members of shooing clubs they said just seeing a .22 being used would be enough.

I don' remember saying any gun I thought we were referring to the .22 used a WHF don't get like Adam, a gun which I have heard people say can be used by a child.

How many times would Sheila have seen Bamber, Nevil or AP push a magazine into a rifle? there were guns all over the place Nevil obviously trusted JB with his life to be so careless!

How many times?  I doubt she ever saw it. The gun was less than a year old. There were shotguns all over the house but they had only one .22. As far as saying 'any gun' I was referring to those at WHF because that is what is implied when the excuse for her supposedly knowing how to use one, is that she lived on a farm.

And as neither he nor Sheila were biologically related to Nevill, there's no reason why they should.

The rifle was new and used for shooting vermin.

Source please. In bold terms stating what you have just stated

In reference to the rifle being used to shoot vermin. Accept the rifle was bought at the back end of 1984 by Nevill

So where is the evidence that Sheila had ever seen it used? It was a new weapon. Sheila had been too ill to visit the family at Christmas. She could have been absent for 8/9 months.

I'm guessing Nevill felt safe in having "guns all over the place" because he knew Sheila wasn't interested and didn't know how to shoot?
Not long after Christmas un March she was in Hospital for four weeks

You are wasting your time doing this. Anyone saying Sheila couldn't use or work out how to use a gun with three buttons (trigger, chamber and magazine release) is not arguing in good faith.

A young Bamber pictured with a rifle.

I guarantee Nevill took this photo. I guarantee there's a picture of Shelia out their in a similar place somewhere

Bestowed upon by his father to hold a gun. I guarantee the same would have happened with Shelia. But not as much as Jeremy as he was male.

Strongly believe both children would be taught how to use weapons on adolescence by their father. Liking it it is another matter however
