What's certain is Bambers duties were not just limited to labouring duties.

He was a chargehand and gave orders.

Being Nevills son no doubt there was a degree or nepotism.

Not talking about Bamber.

Was asking how thousands of farmers worked in darkness. You gave an answer after 5 requests.

Torches and spotlights are ruled out.

The most practical is headlights or ambient light. Obviously if Bamber used a helmet light, he could use it to cycle. Otherwise he would use the ambient light.

This is the fairest representation of light on farmland at night. Hundreds of pages of photos.

ILB has posted individual photos of areas with no ambient lighting.

It is not credible to say the open farm tracks and Sea Wall would have no ambient lighting.

An answer after 5 requests.

Torches are no good as they would need both hands free.

Spotlights. You mean like football stadiums have? None of those in Goldhanger or TD.

Do you agree a helmet with a light on is practical? They were easy to obrain and had been used for decades by thousands of people in other industries. I gave you a source of a farmer using one.

First request.

You are just making yourself look like an absolute tit.

You can prop torches on a surface to illuminate the area you are working at.

A spotlight is not a football stadium floodlight. You know this.

A helmet with a light is decent. Although there is no source of Junes bike having any light whatsoever.

How the hell does computer imagery relate to the real thing  :))

Even your source of couple living the Darby and Joan life in Surrey was more relevant.

1978? I quoted Mary Mugfords court testimony. Source - Wilkes book.

How do you believe farmers work in darkness. Using natural light or headlights?

Forth request.

Well Bamber and June did speak.

Wilkes book provides no sources itself. He didn't meet Bamber till the early nineties.

But fair play, an interesting book to read.

A combine harvester or tractor will have lights on it.

You wear a helmet on your head.  Not put it on a bike.

It is why it's called a helmet.

Anyway, good.

ILB believes farmers who work at night either use the ambient natural light. Or may wear a helmet light

Bamber used one or the other to cycle. Or used both.

He would be used to using ambient light. Goldhanger & TD had no artificial lighting & he had been a farmer for years.

A helmet can have a torch on.

You tit.

I know. It is what I have been suggesting farmers used. With a source. A helmet light.

Keep up.

You suggested Bamber used a torch & would put it on the floor. What would he see, his feet?

Did I ?

The bike didn't have an artificial light.

Anyway common sense dictates he went in the astra.

Pattern emerging here with Adam.

His mantra was always " oh Bamber didn't need any light whatsoever he could do the sea wall journey on the bike blindfolded "

Now he is bringing helmets with torches, bike lights and other pieces of artificial lighting to the table!
