From Google Maps & the internet, it does seem like a straight forward 20 minute cycle ride. Espescially for Bamber who lived, worked & grew up there.
The Sea Wall has good terrain.
Then it is a case of turning left at the appropriate time & cycling on the field footpaths until reaching Pages Lane. Ideally on the shortest route pathway of only 0.4 miles.
Disappointing supporters don't take the defence approach - 'possible but no evidence he did'.
