It is very reckless driving. He wasn't going to the supermarket.

As said Bamber himself fixed the narrative it was either him or Shelia by his phonecall to the police. Destroying any chance of a third party involvement being brought up

Very difficult case to defend in all honesty. I've always believed they his counsel were convinced of his guilt. But at the end of the day all they do is put their clients case forward.
