There is definatley a field to cycle over.

Bamber mentions them in his words in a tik tok. So does RB. ( Statements and notes not tik tok )

Both would know the route of course.

I know there are fields to cycle over once off The Sea Wall. It is on Google maps.

The paths around the fields are probably fine.

If the field has a steep incline that could cause an issue.

Seems the narrative has changed from the CT.

They are saying that the prosecution alleged he never cycled to WHF just cycled back.

Why is cycling up a hill in darkness any different to cycling on flat surface?

The only reason he would not cycle up a hill is if it was too steep.

I doubt there was a hill. Fish Street & Church Street are opposite and are flat.

Okay. I've walked UP onto the sea wall in places, from Heybridge to Tollesbury. Access isn't always across fields, but the land is below sea level. At Goldhanger the paths I've mentioned have required walking/cycling across a field, at the end of which have been conveniently placed steps, without which, access, up the steeply raked slope, with a bike, would be difficult.

'If'.

Only way to know is to see for yourself.

In my experience cyclists cycle up hills. And down.

Doubt there is an incline worthy of the name. All fields I have seen are on flat surfaces.

ILB is trying to create obstacles again.

Now Bamber wouldn't cycle up a hill in the dark. Where he lived, worked and grew up!

We are having an adult discussion.

Cycling down a steep field incline at 2am in the morning is a potential for a bad accident. In pitch black darkness

You are inventing 'steep hills' to try to create obstacles.

All fields I have seen are on flat surfaces.

Wilkinson did not mention any steep hills.

Like you said if we end discovering that the route does have them, then it's not a case of creating obstacles it's recognising them.

Wilkinson said it was level -

Well defined.

Level.

Six feet wide (sea wall).

Occasional stiles.

Stiles easy to pass.

Path cycled 'with ease'.

Well maintained.

Clearly defined.

Easily negotiable.

Walked/cycled with ease.

You've never seen a inclined field or uneven field in your entire life ????

Sounds unbelievable.

It is a straight forward cycle ride for a 24 year old man who lived/worked there. Taking around 20 minutes.

The big advantage is it passed no properties.

Are you saying Wilkinson's WS is a lie? Very risky.

Not another member of EP in on it.

A pity the defence didn't check the route.

I thought Wilkinson said it took 35 mins?
