It was too dark to cycle.

And to populated

Dea'th confirms this

One minute The Sea Wall is a remote route behind a small village. Leading & adjoining to nowhere. ILB saying it was too dark to go on.

Now it's making the Copacabana  look quiet. At 2am! Teenagers, tents, bonfires, fishermen, BBQ's, people sitting/talking.

I'll stick with Millers quote 'no one would see him in a million years'.

Source of miller saying this?

BD doesn't say too dark. Only you do.

BD is saying there was good natural light outside. As everyone was apparently outside at 2am.

22 minutes.

How much experience of the sea wall did Miller have?

Disagree that car headlights would be seen in a small hamlet at 2am in 1985.

Miller was part of investigation team. So will know all about the different route options.

The trial was a year after the massacre. EP had plenty of time investigate prior to telling the prosecution how Bamber travelled.

ILB's best option is to contact BD.

If she can give good reasons why she was regulary on Bamber's route at 2am, that would be a start.

She would then need to explain why the residents of the Osea Leisure Park would travel up to 5 miles at 2am.

You keep going back to osea.

It's getting repetitive.

She says people on the wall on his route.

I think it's insulting to accuse BD of being a liar.

She says people on the wall on his route.

The nearest biggest places are Heybridge and Maldon. Which are both between 3.5 - 7.5 miles away.

Not sure why anyone there would want to be on The Sea Wall at 2am.

It's a very, VERY long wall, and unless she has walked his route, regularly, late nights/early mornings, she can't attest to how frequently there will be people there. Although she could verify who might be on the sea wall in her own vicinity as she gives us to understand that her caravan was right next to it.

Have you walked Bamber's route?

The photos and bits I have on Youtube it looks quiet during the day, let alone at 2am. Which is not surprising.

It leads to and adjoins nowhere. It is not exactly lush sand, clear blue water & surfing wave territory.

You do realise this event we are discussing happened almost 39 years ago ?

The 80s were simple times.

I was a teenager in the 80s, no internet no phones, back then. It's not uncommon for the sort of activity BD describes to be taking place.
