I  have cycled on lots of rough terrain. It's what 8-12 year old boys do. Never got a puncture during that period.

As Killingeve said, Bamber would be very unlucky to get a puncture cycling on cycle tracks, farm tracks and Pages Lane on a short one off return journey.

Bamber's route is a straight forward 20 minute cycle ride on good, level terrain.

But appreciate supporters will try to make it look hard. The latest obstacle from Yvonne - there would be insects on the ground!

It wasn't straight forward Adam, i think he had two stiles to negotiate [Wilkinson said they were kept in good repair and easy to negotiate] but if it's two there, it's also two back again, so that would be four stiles in total and don't forget Bamber was in the Dark and Wilkinson wasn't? 

Going by road cycling or by car, no stiles at all.

For me those pictures just confirm Wilkinson's WS - 'cycled with ease'. Espescially from someone of Bamber's fitness & area knowledge.

But appreciate people have different levels of fitness & cycling experience. So will base Bamber's journey on how they would travel.
