This also proves he did a thorough check of the windows because he gives a special mention to the one weak spot in the Dairy. He would have mentioned any other problems if he had concerns.

So Taff arrived at 8.55am. Nearly 90 minutes after the raid team had entered. Then entered WHF around 9.15am.

Better late than never.

I guess he formed his own opinion. It appeared to be a murder suicide

The guy died in an accident months prior to the trial. Although it appears that his colleagues in the end said he " accepted he was wrong"

Without the guy himself saying it, who knows ?

Surely you are not suggesting the seasoned experienced detective was taken in by Bamber do you ?

No, that was at the weekend. Nobody begrudges law enforcement their leisure time. It seems that Jeremy slipped up or got carried away not counting the rounds, with five extra than there should have been.
