A dryer was not essential.

He could hang up damp clothes which would dry naturally before the police entered WHF or Goldhanger.

Adam, this is just another issue, like the wounds and staging in the SC crime scene, where those who support guilt just flounder. There is no cohesive or collective agreement from you all. It's just a fudge of multiple different assumptions regarding the bloodied clothing and footwear.

There is an agreement that it was not a problem for him.  He had so many options.

I would have planned to cycle home & wash the clothes prior to hanging them up. Then rang the police.

The idea that Jeremy hung around in houseful of corpse's, while he waited for the washer / dryer to finish is absurd, imo.  The relatives were given the keys to the property after the killings. He was also at some point under surveillance.  If he did them at home, then nobody noticed anything in a washer or dryer or hanging up - as nobody mentioned it. Nobody mentioned any missing clothes.

No animals or dog walkers or farm hands or passers by ever discovered any bloodied clothing or shoes. There was nothing bloodied scattered anywhere that drew attention. No farmers discovered anything in hedges. How did he make them sink in any water? Was he carrying bricks in his rucksack on June's bike?

It's just laughable.

It has been known for people to take washed clothes out of a washing machine & put them away.

Why would anyone notice clothes hanging up in his bedroom?

No one had an inventory of Bamber's clothes beforehand. So could not mention any missing clothes.

OK, so he took washed clothes out of the washing machine and while still wet, he put them away, knowing that the police would be round his house at some point in the coming hours.

But he wasn't a suspect at that stage. John Hayward examined some of his clothes a few weeks later and there were dried blood specks, though they had degraded by that time so as not to produce any tangible results.

Got there eventually.

Although the clothes may have been dry. At the worst, damp.

Certainly dry over 5 hours later when Bamber started cooking breakfast while speaking to the police.

Does anyone know when Bamber and the police arrived at Goldhanger?

How do wet clothes from a washing machine dry without being aired?

This suggests he felt he did not need to wash his massacre clothes. So just hung them up.

Confident in his frame. Doubtful much blood would be on him. Maybe a few drops from when wrestling with Nevill.

Damp clothes.

A shirt/jumper just needs to be put on a coat hanger. Jeans in a draw.

He could leave a bedroom window open.

A wet suit can be put on a coat hanger.

The clothes may have been dry when put away.

Thanks.

Wow that is around 7 hours after Bamber put his 'damp' clothes away.

Although they may have been dry anyway.

That's my view.
