It does look like the Aga made the marks Snow, but I tend to believe that Nevil got the burns/marks while laying unconscious against it while the crime was taking place and he was not moved from the floor to the chair by the police?

If this is the case this to me strongly points to Sheila? If Nevil was against the Aga wounded Bamber would just finish him off where he lay.

Then the police put his pyjama top on and moved him.

Been there loads of times with these so called experts Snow, i haven't even bothered to look at this Boyce guy's claims.  I remember and NGB will remeber when a Dr Caruso from Aizona, an expert  concluded that the three burns to Nevill's neck were consistent with contact with the heated end of the rifle, without either the silencer or the end cap fitted. Pig Skin was used in this test as well.

The thing is HB, if the Aga did make the marks then this is in Bambers favour,however if it had been accepted long ago that the rifle barrel made the marks it still would not have proven who was holding the rifle at the time,hence the findings would have favoured no one.

Nevill lying against the Aga has to favour Bamber unless you believe that the police moved Nevill upon entry.Even then the police would have some explaining to do.

And one other thing,if Bamber killed Nevill and left him lying against the Aga he would have known what made the marks,and it goes without saying that he must have known that the rifle did not make the marks.So why waste precious time and money trying to prove that the rifle DID make the marks?
Senseless surely.
