These would be slippers in this case.

Unless you are going straight to an adjoining bathroom & then getting fully dressed to go out.

Sheila, Nevill and June had all made a decision to walk downstairs. According to supporters.

This decision was while they were still in there own bedrooms.

In such a big and untidy house, would all or some of them have instantly put on footware after getting out of bed?

Only time I am bare footed in my place is in the shower. Certainly would not walk around bare footed. Lots of footware options

Nevill, Sheila & June all had time to put on footware/slippers before walking up, down and around a big untidy house in there sleeping attire. Unless abruptly disturbed.

Personally I would not feel right meeting my 27 year old daughter downstairs wearing just pyjamas.

Would certainly put on slippers and a dressing gown.

I'm sure Nevill and June never had breakfast with Sheila & Jeremy bare footed in just there sleeping attire.

If Nevill was not sure who was downstairs, as suggested, all the more reason to not walk downstairs bare footed in pyjamas.

It makes me think the killings happened quickly. Not what the Bamberettes wish to hear.

The twins being killed in bed and Nevill, June & Sheila being found bare footed in just sleeping atire does strongly suggest an ambush.

A twin being out of bed and at least one adult in footware/dressing gown would have suggested a build up before the shooting started.

I walk around bare footed when I get up in the morning, lots of people do.

Why is that Steve? We simply follow the evidence like any other case we look at. If the evidence points to guilt I have no problem whatsoever.

I really wish you guilters would post something with a bit of substance that I could look into, all we get is reply's full of poison.

It makes me think Nevill didn't have time to put on slippers, as might have happened had June sent him downstairs to investigate a noise. Despite posts to the contrary on this site June was shot in bed, pinned to the headboard as the bullets hit her and went through the pillow. She didn't have time to put on footwear either.

Prefer thick socks in the house. Never been a slippers man. Find them vile.

Sheila being found bare footed in a nightie suggests she did not get up mid massacre.

Footware, a dressing gown or both would have been put on.

Yep, me too but if I were concerned about something, I don't think I would bother with anything on my feet.
