Glorious November morning in Costa Teguise.  Only minimal clouds.
I like the way they didn't build high rise on the island. I have heard mixed reviews on Lanzarote though.

This is a tragic story: https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/latest-news/breaking-brit-woman-killed-patagonia-36270203

Patagonia covers areas of both Chile and Argentina. The weather conditions are not akin to the Isles of Scilly, though. https://youtu.be/9CAN0stUGnI

Must say I like Costa Teguise and Lanzarote,  I’m hiring a bike when I’m there, I was going to take my own but it’s too much trouble.  I’ve always fancied an Air B&B for a couple of months rather than moving out there permanently?

Having visited all four major islands I prefer Lanzarote.

Just a pipe dream I had some years ago in all honesty.

I note Paul Betts, the father of tragic ecstasy victim Leah, has died. He moved with wife Janet to Scoraig, following threats on his life. https://youtu.be/PzamCeAFUxg

Got off the plane at Manchester last night in shorts and t shirts, woke up this morning cold and aching. Climate got me good.

I am back in April, enjoyed it this time good weather although very windy as expected.

Shocking result to come home to as well ILB by arch rivals.  I cannot understand what’s going on at Hillsborough.

I welcome all Christians, or those curious about the religion. I note attendance amongst the young is on the up: https://www.churchtimes.co.uk/articles/2025/11-april/news/uk/dramatic-growth-in-young-people-attending-church-bible-society-research-finds

Some good venues and maybe some not to my taste, as I never was one for a pub crawl. Suitable for permanent retirement or more a holiday destination; I'm still undecided. https://youtu.be/IRFvdM1r70Y

For those whose retirement in the Canaries may be out of reach: https://youtu.be/jzyQ6jGOPOA

This is a sad story, and with the breakdown of family structures I'm sure there will be more to come: https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/latest-news/worlds-loneliest-man-found-four-36329375
