I don't accept he would hear a downstairs phone ringing 3-7 times with his bedroom door shut.

Guess it was open.

Ok. Thanks for that.

Your more than welcome.

Nevill certainly would not wake me by ringing a downstairs AM. As my mum said 'when I was asleep, I was out'.

Bamber sleeping 'like a log' must not be so deep.

Just like to get different opinions.

People who have woken up and answered middle of the night calls, (myself and a significant amount of the population)

Apparently only Adam and Bamber cannot do so

I accept everyone is different in terms of sleep patterns.

I am a heavy sleeper. Once head hits the pillow I drift off.

But people have been awoken by phonecalls at 3AM

I don't agree with you that Nevill would only need to ring his AM twice.

Could be twice. Could be 20 times.

As you said Sheila had already started shooting people upstairs. So too late to start ringing Bamber's AM downstairs.

I don't agree with you that Nevill would go up and down the stairs 5 times and let Sheila hit him with the rifle while fully fit.

Nevill would instantly take the rifle off Sheila while fully fit.

He was 9 inches taller and 8 stone heavier. Also a male & several times stronger.

Sheila was very docile, uncordinated, weak with no weapon experience.

The rifle was a low powered weapon used for shooting vermin.

We are just going round in circles with this

Just agree to disagree

I think people can answer the phone in the middle of the night.

Apparently only you and Bamber can't

Yes we are going around in circles.

We should both agree it is possible for Bamber to wake from Nevill calling his AM. This could be anything from 2 to 20 attempts.

Mid September 1985 - Jeremy needs documents from the office in order to go abroad and has no key, Enters via the downstairs bathroom window using a hack saw to unsecure the latch.

Has he ever said how he exited the property when he retrieved his Docs?  We know that DS Jones handed over the keys of the farmhouse to Mrs Eaton late noon on 9th Aug, so i assume he left via the window?  He would have had to have taken the alarm off which possibly activated due to the timing and the PIR sensor. If he left via the window it would have been very hard to reset the alarm again?

If the new door that was fitted had a yale lock he could just deactivate the alarm on entry and lock the window. Leave by the back door having reset the alarm. I believe he left a note saying what he had done.

Sure, unless he actually wanted it known, there was no need to have said anything?

He may have wanted the farm secretary to know, since he may have moved stuff and did not wish to cause her concern.

Why would things being moved cause concern?
