I personally would like to see the inside of the kitchen window catch

Essex Police deceived the court.

-- They showed the jury a photo of one window photographed from an angle to make it appear as if the latch was not fully secured and exit from the house could still have been possible. However, it withheld another photo taken directly in front of the same window, demonstrating that the latch was, in fact, fully secured in the 180 degrees down position, making access impossible from the outside. The photograph shown to the jury was designed to deceive them.

This is from the OS

If he can loosen the locking mechanism then surely he can bang a window to?

He can open the sash windows from outside but these can't be closed from outside, that's why it's thought he left through the kitchen window which is a different type. But if there is a secondary latch this cannot be closed which is why I would like to see a crime scene photo of this window.

Both pictures have been posted on this forum at different times they have not been added to the archive.

I have tried to find them perhaps others may do better.

I also seem to remember that this was covered by a podcast by the lead of the CT and maybe that is where these pictures might be found. I believe her name was Trudy.

Why would Jean Boutell be in WHF in the immediate aftermath given that it was a crime scene ?

She saw the crime scene photos.

In Wilkes's book.

Trudie Benjamin's podcasts have been taken down. She has left the CT.

A pity as everyone used to look forward to her Monday podcasts.

Talking of Trudie. She did a podcast on the bike.

Part of it was on the Sea Wall where she sat on footpath bench.

Wonder if Jeremy had a sit down mid journey.

Again you are dissembling. She did it to point out how crazy it would be to attempt such a journey.

The footpath was so difficult to walk down, it had a park bench!

Why isn't it disclosed ?

It solves the problem

There are a lot of pictures of the kitchen window. Inside and out.

Not sure what you are looking for.

If either the back or front windows ( kitchen ) had a catch handle that can only be secured from the inside and they were found to be locked August 7th 1985, then it's a MOJ

You can't turn a handle from the outside.

If the window was found secure from the inside with the catch secure on the morning of August 7th 1985 then Jeremy Bamber is innocent.

It was found unsecured in the afternoon and Jones wasn't there long enough to check all windows and do all the other things he said he did. There was also no reason for it to have been unsecured in the first place.

Was it a turn handle or the old style window cache ?
