Julie probably knew nothing about it until Bamber drove her there and told her to be a look out.

By that point she could not say 'no'.

It seems the robbery was spontaneous. RB says Bamber had persuaded Nevill to leave the cash in the safe that night.

It was 'now or never'.

Doubt that Julie knew what Bamber was doing. Or how he was doing it. She was a look out. Probably sat in the car. But she could guess what was happening.

Wonder if they went straight to the restauraunt to have that expensive meal. Again that was Bamber's choice.

She could have said

" I'm not having anything to do with this Jeremy "

" I'm getting out of the car "

" Il tell your dad "

Bamber didn't have her at gunpoint

I tend to believe she wanted a share of the spoils

Which makes it out like Bamber didn't even care if he would be number 1 suspect then. He knew Nevill would know it was him.

Which means

1) he did it out of spite. Knowing that Nevill would not take any action against him and he's get away with it Scot free

2)  the lax security scenario

Nevill had seriously reprimanded Jeremy for smoking cannabis at WHF farm years before.

I'm sure he could have punished Jeremy. £900 was a lot of money in 1985

Getting out of the car. And going where?

Doubt she would threaten to tell Nevill. She was Bamber's GF.

As said not much she could do after being taken there out of the blue at night.

The lax security is not an option as he spent the money.

So option 1 together with greed.

What do you believe Bamber had done if she had got out and walked off?

Doubt that Julie had been to the caravan site office before. Why would she?

She would not know of cash being left there. Mainly because it never was.

The robbery night was after Bamber had persuaded Nevill to leave the cash in the safe.

So she had nothing to do with persuading or encouring him beforehand.

Do you believe Nevill, former wartime pilot, successful businessman, magistrate, was a soft touch?
