There it is again, no deals or collusion between her and the police. Strange how each statement says that and they are supposed to be "individual statements of each of the 3 people who made them. The very fact that each statement contains those words indicates that there was indeed collusion at least in the writing of the statements.

Im confused. She states that she did not know Julie had gone to the police, but I thought that she was the one that convinced Julie to go to the police.Wasnt she the one that phoned Stan Jones on Julies behalf?Or have I got the wrong person?

Tyler, I think you´ve got it right.

So Susan Battersby ALSO claims that it was Jeremy´s fault that Jule and her got the brilliant idea to make check fraud!! Because, as she says: "he used to take the mickey out of me for being so straight laced." And that after confessing that:  "Julie and myself were at college when someone there suggested how easy it was to report that one´s cheque book and cheque card lost, then go and use that same book and card to buy goods without actually being charged for them."

Someone at college suggested this to Julie and Susan, Julie practiced forging signature, Susan reported her cheque book missing, THEY went downtown and scammed numerous stores, but it is still JEREMY´s fault!!!  :o He had not a THING to do with this.

Susan Jane Battersby Statement 07/05/2002
Battersby done really well,
She cannot remember if she reported the theft to to the bank
She cannot remember how the bank responded.
Two EP officers came to interview her, but cannot remember who they were.Didn't know July had gone to
the police, yet Battersby told her to do so.
Statement on the 10 Sept 1985, I cannot remember making this statement.
She then recieves a phonecall from plod saying no further action will be taken in regards to the cheque book theft.
She does not remember the police attending the bank. Fact is she has a really selective memory.
I think she was blackmailed, she may f****** well remember that.
When the shit hits the fan EP will ditch her like a hot potato

She could remember the exact time of Jeremy's call one month later!
