Well Alias I'm flailing around for an excuse for Jeremy to commit the murder of two six year-old boys and three adults, and this is the closest I will ever come to it..

You don´t know what Jeremy thinks, you are making it all up, right. I cannot use it for anything!
Besides, if Jeremy committed those murders, there is no excuse as far as I am concerned. If Sheila did, I do not blame her, as I don´t blame Andrea Yates who killed her five children. She, as Sheila, was grossly undermedicated for her severe mental illness. I blame their doctors.

No because the dislike for his family verging on hatred is corroborated by independent sources.

And I feel certain that they have blown it out of all proportion and/or they heard it first from Julie.

And I agree with you Alias.
I also wonder why Steve is admitting he is 'flailing around for a reason' Jeremy murdered his family.  Isn't that an admission that he doesn't really believe it?

Maybe Jeremy began to wonder whether Suzette's miscarriages were genuine, who knows? I meant that the twins were important to Sheila when she was well enough to look after them, and it's unpardonable that Jeremy should do harm to people who had done nothing to Jeremy, not that I'm excusing Jeremy's killing of his parents.

Do you not think it EQUALLY unpardonable of Julie to SAY Jeremy did harn to those who had never harmed him AND throw snide aspersions on his sexuality?

I prefer to take Julie's version of events:that it was Jeremy who broached the subject of fostering that night to provoke Sheila, that Sheila may have retaliated in some way verbally and later wrote "I didn't mean to be horrible to Jeremy" in her diary, that Jeremy hired a proxy killer(who was really Jeremy in a balaclava) who made a telephone call from White House to his answerphone at Goldhanger, that Jeremy had lost control of himself somewhat that night and given Nevill more of a thrashing than he intended, but "the old man put up a good fight..".

We know Julie is telling the truth because she relates the bit about a glove coming off in the fight with Nevill, which none of the newspapers reported at the time. Jeremy didn't want a combination of his and Nevill's fingerprints on the murder weapon so they all had to be removed,to be replaced by a solitary fingerprint of Sheila's and a couple of Jeremy's,whereas if Jeremy had been shooting rabbits his fingerprints should have been all over that gun.along with more of Sheila's,who would not have wiped the gun in a state of paranoid psychosis.
So lets get this straight. You believe Julie Mugfords version against Jeremy Bambers version of events? Well if you believe Julie Mugford then you must believe Jeremys version by default. Because he was according to you Julies information source? Now if Jeremy is a liar as you contend then what he apparently told Julie must be a lie and if it was a lie then Julie must be lying? ;)

He really isn't concerned with anything other than altering the topic of the thread because it's about Julie.
