In fact Jeremy never expressed any regret over the deaths to anyone did he,nor venture any information to his Police interrogators willingly. Often those who are not so good at writing do at least attempt to compensate in their conversation, but not a bit of it with Jeremy.

I wonder what he had to hide?

As you have thus far proved incapable of understanding OR has simply refused to comprehend reactions to extreme shock, it's doubtful that you'll be interested in knowing that Jeremy may have been in a position of wandering like a stranger through a world he'd previously found familiar, similar to sufferers of PTSD, it's a dissociation. This was borne out by the restaurant proprietor who witnessed him sitting quietly and not participating in the general hilarity.

The point is that they had to confess. Otherwise it would certainly have been revealed in court. They didn't do it because they felt guilty, they confessed because they knew they had no choice. The meeting had been discussed by someone with the fraud department prior to JM and SB's visit to the bank, probably to pressure them not to prosecute despite that being the bank's policy. Jones conveniently was off work so there was no log entry of his whereabouts. Even if the stuff was given away it didn't matter because the cheques would be made out to the shops who could then identify the girls.

I don't recall Jeremy venturing much information under interrogation about Julie,if anything. It was far too dangerous a topic for him and one which he would much rather eschew.
In other words Jeremy didn't snitch on her. But in return she turned him over and lied to the cops about him. That tells me a lot about her nature.

No but he seemed to windsurf quite well, along with his foreign trips to France and Amsterdam, not to mention his giggling with Brett over topless photographs of Sheila at the Maida Vale flat.

Jeremy refrained from comment about Julie to save his own skin, pure and simple.

So we can conclude that Julie was the female version of Robin Hood. Stealing to give to charity, a heart of gold she has.  :o
She must also have donated the money she made from drug dealing and from the burglary, of course she did, she was in no way a greedy little golddigger! The money she made from the sleazy NOTW article probably secretly was given to the poor, even though on paper she bought herself a new apartment.
What a gal!  ;D

Grahame Julie was a survivor and would always look after number one Jeremy had led quite a sheltered life and Julie would leave him standing in some respects think he was somewhat naive and he really underestimated Julie to his peril.  All the reading I have done on the Jeremy Bamber case I have never heard Jeremy say one wrong word about her and this is to his credit as he was brought up as a gentleman and has old fashion values and that is a good quality.

Of course whether the above is true or not it all pales into comparison with the cold-blooded murder of five individuals.

Again like PTSD, inappropriate behaviour as a response to severe trauma, suggesting dissociation.

..and when he said he was glad they were dead, but he "did miss the old man occasionally"..was this dissociation as well. When he told Julie at Blazer's restaurant Blackheath "maybe there is something wrong with me..I don't feel anything" was this dissociation as well? Or does he just pace around his prison cell thinking "everything will come out in the wash" as he reminisces on the five victims he killed just when Times reporters happen to be in the neighbourhood?
