Fingerprinting of the crime scene, did not occur at the farmhouse, until the change of direction in the nature of the police investigation, 'on' and 'after' the '7th September 1985'...

A lot of police officers who attend the scene and whom for whatever reason were all confirmed as having entered the crime screen on the '7th August 1985', are missing from the fingerprint request, as posted!

Included in that list is the name and details of 'DCS MICHAEL AINSLEY' who did not get involved in the second investigation, so there is sufficient proof to show that cops tried to make it have happened a month earlier...

I’m not sure I follow. If Ainsley were there in August, so might his prints be, so it would still be necessary to eliminate them even if fingerprinting did not begin until September.
