We Are The Champions, The Champions Of Europe!

Leeds United are still in the Premier League!  I followed the match on the radio while driving south and I was punching the air at Harrison's goal.  I think it is marvellous!

As usual, Leeds scored in the dying minutes.

I think it was a mistake to dismiss Bielsa.  They should have stuck with him, even if it meant relegation.  I'm also not sure about this American manager, who comes across as a bit preachy, but we are where we are and he deserves a fair go.  One thing in his favour is that he seems to understand player welfare/psychology better than Bielsa did.  The American link can only be good for the club commercially - the United States is a huge market.

Let's hope for success in the new season, maybe some interesting American signings that solidify the link.

Maybe Leeds as champions of the Premier League!  That would silence the London media!

It's not an obsession for me, but as an honorary Tyke, Leeds were my club from the start when it came to football.  I've attended the odd match now and then at Elland Road over the years and followed all the highs and lows, mainly from a distance.  Something in my heart does stir when I hear the terrace chants...

What about Burnley having sacked the 'ginger Mourhino' presumably to stave off relegation? I bet he had mixed feelings when they were sent down. Might he have actually saved them?

Thank goodness they sacked him, or Leeds might have been relegated.

What I don't understand is where all the money went at Burnley.
