Saturday 3rd August 1985

Sheila had just come out of hospital and Colin decided to have a party. Colin says Sheila was just staring into space (not surprising considering she had just come out of hospital and was probably not in the mood to party)

Colin decided to stay and party but Jeremy decided to put Sheila first and left the party to take Sheila home.
Julie Mugford the main prosecution witness was guilty of numerous crimes, 13 separate cheque frauds, robbery, and drug dealing and also making a deal with a national newspaper before trial that if she could convince a jury her ex boyfriend was guilty of five murders she would receive £25,000

That's twisting the truth Jackie. Colin had been drinking and suggested that Jeremy take Sheila home. Wasn't this also the occasion that Sheila dialled the number and then passed the receiver onto Colin, not wishing to speak to him herself?

Yes, and thoughtful of Uncle Jeremy to quiz Colin on the exact arrangements for the forthcoming week, establishing beyond doubt that all would be contained under one roof.

I believe there to have been more than a little misrepresentation of truth here, Steve. Sheila hadn't JUST come out of hospital. I think it was about 10/11 weeks. As Colin wasn't her husband, he didn't have to ask her permission to have a housewarming party. She was lucky he invited her. Had she not felt up to going, she could have declined his offer. He was perfectly entitled to enjoy his own party. How Sheila got home was hardly his responsibility. It was wise of him not to take her as he'd been drinking. As JB had to drive back to Essex, he probably -hopefully- wasn't.

Be fair, Lookout. HIS housewarming. HIS home. Sheila wasn't his wife, nor even his girlfriend. Other than being the mother of his children, she was just another guest. Was he supposed to make home going arrangements for them all?

Are you going to try to implicate Colin? Nah! That'd be silly!

He knew she was ill though and I don't doubt that the reason CC was throwing drink down his neck was so that he wouldn't be in a fit state to bother about her.

No, not CC.

Well, that leaves Julie, but we know she was in London.
