Not really. I used another picture, but I got sick and tired of seeing myself, so I thought this would be a good compromise.  ;D

Anyone else affected by the riots?

Last night they wrecked Clapham Junction which is only a mile away from me.

Today all the areas around me closed down mid-afternoon and people were told to go home early.

And yet tonight it seems very quiet, though it seems other towns are suffering a bit.

Interested to know what the anti-police posters on here think about what powers they should/shouldn't be given to deal with such violence?

On the plus side, does anyone need a new tumble dryer?

There has been some trouble not too far from me in Liverpool last night and the traffic has been chaos today.
I personally think there should be curfews for affected areas and the army should be brought in to enforce them. Curfews could be imposed quickly like in Manchester tonight and mobile army units could easily impliment them.

Not many left in the army now they have been given the boot.
Anyway why should squaddies sort it out, the cops get well paid to sort it out, or should we have marshall law.
