Lookout if the relatives and Mugford really wanted this to be over they would also be fighting to get everything released

Any honest person would

I'm sure they would Jackie. I know if I was in that position/ situation I wouldn't want to see it rumbling on year after year for the past 36 years. How unsettling life would have been.
I might possibly have made an attempt to put a stop to it all ? If I'd have been honest of course.

Did you know that Sheila's illness was known to EP and this is why JB didn't think it necessary to dial 999 ?

Apparently calls made in the past were made locally so JB naturally thought it would continue that way and they'd know to come out.

I would lay bets that such information and causes for EP call-outs is among those documents which are held.

So because of this withheld information EP can say that JB used it to blame his sister.

I have to say, this is quite good.  The speeches are very good, especially Philip Walker's.

Would you do anything which assisted the person you believed responsible for slaughtering your entire family? Why would you? Why would they? Try putting the boot on the other foot, for once.

Then why didn't he say so, instead of things like he didn't think it would make any difference?...........and wasn't there also something about not knowing how the system worked?

IF such was the case, and frankly, nothing said previously leads me to believe it, there's NO excuse for Nevill not calling 999 immediately, and no excuse for JB, had he been party to such knowledge, not conveying it when he made his call, ie, reminding them that previous calls had been made concerning her behaviour.

I'm not blaming you, Lookout. I'm certain it's something you hope to be true. It sounds like something the CT would put out, possibly originating from JB, but it's a bit late in the day for him to start remembering it now.

Yes, very good indeed. Why, why, why won't they release this evidence ??

Nevill rang 999 but Jeremy didn't.

That's what is said, but back then, when one dialled 999 one was put through to an operator who asked which service one required and then put the caller through to the appropriate service. It had nothing to do with the police so if such a call was 'hidden', it would have required the cooperation of the person in the call centre who took the call, as well as the police. Personally, in the light of the outcome, I wouldn't have wanted that on my conscience, would you?

One of the most important points in the case Lookout also once again as Sheilas illness was a major point in the trial why cant all her notes be released to the defence team. There is not a single reason why
Julie Mugford the main prosecution witness was guilty of numerous crimes, 13 separate cheque frauds, robbery, and drug dealing and also making a deal with a national newspaper before trial that if she could convince a jury her ex boyfriend was guilty of five murders she would receive £25,000

I haven't got any information from the CT Jane as I doubt that they'd know about that little gem. This came out in 2007 and was actually from a police officer.

These are the sort of reports that will be withheld as they're less likely to be destroyed when mental illness is involved in a case because of references made in murder cases particularly.
