Can anyone imagine a 15 year old boy, today, going Christmas shopping with his mum ? No, nor can I !!
This was how lovely life was in the 70's. Not much wrong with a lad who went along with that.

He does say in Blood Relations there was no animosity in their relationship until 1978. But he doesn't elaborate further.

He wouldn't need to elaborate as I've yet to come across a father and son who haven't had words. He wasn't estranged from his parents like so many are today.

It's only JB's strong mental outlook that has kept him going all through these years. As long as your mind remains strong, so will your body. I hope and pray that next year will open the biggest can of worms that this justice system has ever seen or experienced because JB did not murder his family !

Yet he avoided his other grandmother post-massacre.

Those were beautiful memories to cherish forever. I say again, how many teen boys would enjoy going to grannie's for such a long period ? Or at all with parents ??

It wasn't unlike my early married life with visits at Christmas to my in-laws in their big house, then when I had the children, them sliding down all the bannisters or getting a tray and sliding down the stairs. Then the games, and hide and seek which the children played in all the nooks and crannies of a Victorian house.

This would all have reflected on Jeremy's state of mind which is why he's been able to withstand all these years imprisoned. Things now are certainly not as he'd left them all those years ago as it's not the same world he'd been used to. I feel so much sorrow for him and the way he's been treated. Let's hope that there's some joy for him in 2022.

I have a great deal of sympathy for Michael O' Brien, but why he has hitched his wagon to the Jeremy Bamber cause I do not know.

Because like many others he can see that all is not well in the JB case. Maybe some similarities to his own------like withheld documents.

No he's a nice guy, maybe a car thief in his youth but that's it-certainly not murder. But he's been duped by a conman who used all his public school charm on him to bend him to his will. Such a shame.
