Credit where it's due, Nugs. I disagree with Peter Hitchens on most subjects but don't doubt his honesty in his beliefs. He is honest, unlike most journos, and relishes discussing controversial subjects. For that he deserves credit.

Turkey's current position is extremely fragile and leads inevitably to the Syrian govt. recovering the entirety of the north of the country. Their terrorist proxies will be utterly defeated when the inevitable attack comes.

Syria will, as Assad has promised, recover every inch of Syrian soil from the illegal occupiers, including the Golan Heights.

David, your predictions thus far on these threads have proven to be mostly wishful thinking. From your rail gun and laser weapon armed super carriers which would render Russian/Iranian and Chinese anti carrier missiles obsolete to the seemingly ever present imminent demise of Putin and imminent collapse of the Russian economy, your "predictions" have a less than exemplary record. US carriers are currently avoiding the Houthis. I suggested many years ago that missile tech had rendered Carriers obsolete, you claimed otherwise. Do you still think that US carriers could play any role in a modern battle space? They are akin to cavalry after the development of tanks.
The fog of war is thick at the moment and if you were a serious person interested in getting to the bottom of current events, you should have many questions now and you would be waiting for the fog to clear before having anything to add. Instead you go back 3 years in the comments to drag out what you believe to be a "gotcha moment".
You demonstrate that in fact the main gist of my analysis over the years of these threads has been prescient. I have written reams of commentary over the years, the main gist of which has been that Russia/China/Iran and the multipolar world axis of resistance will economically, militarily and politically defeat the Collective West control of finance, banking, reserve currency status. The End for the Empire of Lies thread is holding up well with the passage of time. All you can find is a couple of sentences out of thousands from three years ago.
The general gist of your comments over the years has been predicting the imminent collapse of Russia economically, militarily and politically. The World Bank and the IMF disagree with your economic outlook. Your constantly predicted game changing wunder waffen have failed to stop the inevitable.
You have believed that Russia are running out of everything from consumer goods, food, weapons and soldiers for the entirety of the last three years. The economy about to crash. Everything that you have claimed will unfold is the opposite of what happened.
We will see what unfolds over the next days/weeks in Syria and what the effects/consequences are. I doubt that it is anything good, or that the disparate interests currently aligned in attacking Syria will remain aligned. Whatever "deals" that have been made will probably be forgotten as the Turks, Kurds, various Islamist groups and their western sponsors fight amongst themselves. That you take such a serious threat to the world as a whole simply as an opportunity to demonstrate your eloquence by commenting with a clown face says a lot about you, David.

An insightful, thought provoking commentary from Craig Murray linked below. How those indoctrinated westerners who still believe that we are fighting for freedom or whatever maintain their stance even when confronted with undeniable evidence of arming and sponsoring the very groups that we proscribe is staggering.
Celebrating or even supporting in any way current supposed "rebellions" in Syria demonstrates the short sighted-ness of many western media consumers. The consequences and blowback from what is currently being condoned will be huge. The West, via its various proxies, is setting the world on fire and using terror against civilian populations in desperation to prevent the upcoming parallel financial and trading systems that ends their world domination plans.

I read this yesterday and was really impressed.  He has a very deep understanding of the issues and forces at play.  Craig Murray's blog is always worth reading.  Apart from Scottish independence I agree with almost all he has written.  It is a shame the anti - Zionist/pro Palestine vote in Blackburn was split in the general election and religious sectarianism reared its head because otherwise Craig Murray would easily have won the seat.  He would have been a very effective voice.

I agree with your sentiments about Craig Murray. His blog is a "must read". I would suggest that there are machinations behind Murray not winning the seat and deliberately stirred sectarianism. Murray is hated by the establishment, as I'm sure you well know, for the very reason that he is an effective voice and fearless in using it. He would be the worst nightmare of establishment figures with a seat in Parliament.

I agree entirely.  I followed his election campaign closely and it is absolutely clear that there were machinations here which were sinister.
