I have never really been comfortable with JB's conviction. Recent evidence coming to light seems there is every possibility he is innocent.
There is much in the way of new evidence such as photographic evidence showing the body of the daughter was moved and the crime restaged by the Police. The body of the daughter was recorded as being downstairs when she died upstairs. The gun was removed from her hands and propped up against the wall, and later restaged.
Evidence showing that the silencer was not used.

Thousands of files are being held by police but some accounts written on the fateful night show that the Police where in communication with someone in the house on arrival (thought to be the sister) and there was movement in the house. It was also three hours or so before they entered the house due partly to this.
Details of a phone call the father made 10 minutes before JB rang the police, the father stating that his daughter was going mad with a shotgun in the house. This was not presented in court.
It has come to light that the hitman that the ex girlfiend claimed that JB had hired and had done the crime has a cast iron alibi and could not have committed the murders (evidence key in finding JB guilty)
The silencer scratch marks were done a month later, after the murders, and not on the night of the murders as was told in court (key evidence in finding JB guilty)
