I don´t know. And when? He put some thought and work into it. Used materials which were in the cellar. All highly odd and so, so scary!
Ransom note a mystery in itself. Some sick, sick fukk there!

My W is no where near the T.....thank goodness you knew what I meant  ;)

I had a thought earlier that the killer was still in the house when the Ramsey's woke up and that might be why he killed her and fled through the basement window.

The ransom note does not make sense either like you say. Why take the time to write it and leave it on the stairs then kill her inside the house. You are right its a flippin mystery.  Unless, he was disturbed at Patsy waking up at 5:30 in the morning so he did a runner. Like the McCann case we will never know what happened. Yet, there might be a easy enough explanation and we can't see it.  :-\

Was it the spiral staircase that the notes were found?

Yes, the bottom step.

Another strange thing I´ve thought about. Why did the Ramseys have all those friends over - I can understand police even though there was a clear warning about that (she would be beheaded), but the friends?
In the ransom note it says that if they talk to a straydog, JonBenet will die.
The ransom note also says they are being watched. Why take such an unneccessary risk?

I know it sounds as if I think the Ramseys are guilty - I don´t; but there are so many strange and contradictory elements in this damned case.

No idea, for support maybe?

Now that is an unusual word "staydog" is it an American term?

Being watched suggests that who ever wrote the note must have been close....

None of it makes sense.... :o

Yeah, that's right Alias.

I can't help but feel that this person has used this method of killing before.  Why not use hands or rope, why go to the trouble of breaking up a paint brush then using a unique knot like that...you don't just make that method of killing up at the spare of the moment...I think he has used this method of killing before.  I also think that covering her up is a personal thing and that killer knows the Ramsey's.

The note that was left is address to Mr Ramsey and in the note he calls him John as if he knew him on a personal level.   :-\

None of it makes much sense, does it?!
I keep returning to this case, but I always just leave it in frustration because you really don´t get anywhere with it!
In my mind the suspect list should have been narrowed down to ANYONE who knew about John Ramsey´s 118,000 $ bonus that year. There MUST be a link there.

It has to be someone who knows him....its too personal...what about all those people who were there on the 23rd? I reckon it might be someone who was jealous....

I know what you mean about being frustrated though.
