Thanks for posting that Roch.

It's just my coping mechanism as a supporter Maggie. Get in there early regarding a likely defeat. Then anything else is a bonus.

There was a really good article in the east anglia daily times about Sheila and Jeremy’s relationship but it has been removed. Has anyone got a copy?
Julie Mugford the main prosecution witness was guilty of numerous crimes, 13 separate cheque frauds, robbery, and drug dealing and also making a deal with a national newspaper before trial that if she could convince a jury her ex boyfriend was guilty of five murders she would receive £25,000

Someone must have complained. It was listed in a Google news search but is no longer available.

This is getting ridiculous

It's the kind of thing the relatives might do, as Jeremy is supposed to have slaughtered Sheila and is a convicted multiple murderer.  I doubt a local newspaper would want to seem insensitive to their feelings, if challenged.

Makes you wonder ! They've had little or no input in the TV drama which I find strange ?

You'd have thought they'd have been queuing up to give their sixpenn'orth like they were throughout the investigation.

Just a suggestion, but rather than speculate about 'dark forces' why doesn't someone just ask the editor?

If it bothers you so much, you ask----I'm not bothered myself, just thought it was strange that one minute it was there, then gone the next.

It doesn't bother me in the slightest but I'm not the one talking about 'Dark forces'. Easy enough to check out if you have the mind.

This is what I was trying to explain the other day. In order to be top brass in the first place, you have to be seen as a safe pair of hands who won't rock the boat. This CPS bloke has probably been told just to let it go to judicial review, because there's a good possibility Bamber will lose anyway.  Then there's no need to worry about disclosing anything.
   Here is exactly that point summed up in a nutshell, Roch;

   The full interview was about, "Manufacturing Consent", worth watching in full and the book itself is a dissection of media manipulation and distortions over many decades. This is a subject that you have touched on many times lately and many of your questions and suspicions are dealt with in depth and detail.
