For what reason would anyone block something 34 years on ??
It's the kind of thing the relatives might do, as Jeremy is supposed to have slaughtered Sheila and is a convicted multiple murderer. I doubt a local newspaper would want to seem insensitive to their feelings, if challenged.
Just a suggestion, but rather than speculate about 'dark forces' why doesn't someone just ask the editor?
If it bothers you so much, you ask----I'm not bothered myself, just thought it was strange that one minute it was there, then gone the next.
This is what I was trying to explain the other day. In order to be top brass in the first place, you have to be seen as a safe pair of hands who won't rock the boat. This CPS bloke has probably been told just to let it go to judicial review, because there's a good possibility Bamber will lose anyway. Then there's no need to worry about disclosing anything.
