Stunning developments today as Prince Andrew, favourite son of the late Queen Elizabeth II, has been stripped of his title of Prince, and will subsequently be known as plain Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. Had the man wished to make lucrative after dinner speeches to cater for the gullible American market, this option has probably been closed off to him now, and for the remainder of his life he will remain languishing in a small property on the Sandringham Estate, which befits his new diminished status.

As a matter of interest, it is far more difficult to denude Andrew of his dukedom, which falls under the law of property, specifically incorporeal Hereditament, rather than in the gift of the sovereign of the day. Fortuitously for the Establishment, Andrew has no male progenitor, so the title of duke upon his death will revert back to the Crown. A warning is contained therein for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who may well be forced to relinquish their titles in a similar vein when nephew William ascends the throne as William V, though this may require an Act of Parliament. William would, however, retain the power to strip his brother and nephew, His Royal Highness Prince Archie, of the HRH and Prince title, meaning any son of Archie would become His Grace rather than Prince, him being a great-grandson of the current monarch.

We're getting hints that the King has not long to live. For his mother there weren't any press leaks, but when William and Catherine moved from Kensington Palace to Windsor one did sense a hidden motive.

The concerning story: https://www.msn.com/en-gb/health/other/cancer-stricken-king-charles-iii-reportedly-preparing-for-his-last-christmas/ar-AA1RMjpZ?ocid=msedgntp&pc=U531&cvid=693305306c304db0a9791c88634a4210&ei=12

There's too much of a spotlight shone on the children. They should be allowed to grow up outside of the media glare. https://www.express.co.uk/news/royal/2151492/royal-family-just-unleashed-their

For those who haven't read the books on Diana there's a good summary from the 34:00 mark, plus more titbits from the incomparable Lady C people might not have been aware of. https://youtu.be/-yi-niQ2_VU

You do read/listen to a lot of drivel Steve.  Lady C makes Pat Brown look credible.  Apparently at birth she was born with a fused labia and a deformed clitoris and was assigned male.  She was raised as a boy but according to Lady C biologically female.  At age 21 she had corrective surgery to rectify her congenital vaginal malformation.  She married Lord Colin Ivar Campbell after knowing him for 5 days but the relationship quickly soured over the scandal surrounding her physical characteristics at birth.

Just to add I am not saying Lady C talks drivel because of his/her anatomy.

She has connections in Royal circles. Her book Diana in Private rewrote the history Diana wanted to make with Andrew Morton. To her credit Lady C refused Diana's request to write the eulogy the latter wanted.

I'm well aware of the deformity you write about. It's just not relevant to the content of her books, and I'm surprised as a feminist you don't support her.

But that's the connection the general reader will make.

Oh Steve please stop being so naive.  You need saving from yourself.  Lady C has no more Royal circle connections than I do.  She was married to Lord Colin Ivar Campbell, the younger son of the eleventh Duke of Argyll for a short while during 1974 having known him for 5 days.  She continues to trade off this connection.

I don't think of myself as a feminist as I grew up on the basis that I was equal to men.  I come from a non-religious background so the whole patriarchal thing associated with religion did/does not apply.

I don't support Lady C on the same basis I don't support Pat Brown; both women are cranks and fakes imo.
