no its just the design jane, some people like to have more control hence one full pull of the trigger will pnly let one shot go,where as in full auto the bullets come out at a high rate of speed hence when trigger is pulled one can never be in control of the shots,i have fired a handgun on full auto as soon as the trigger was pulled it let out 6 shots in a couple of seconds

Thank-you for that, Sami. I believe it was a fully automatic that Jeremy had wanted but was told it was "unsportsmanlike". I can see that dispatching a group of people might be easier for a competent shooter if they were using a fully automatic.

I wonder how many times Sheila would have practiced holding a gun, in a way designed to take her life, to test how easy it would be to push the trigger?
She did some remarkable things to say she wasn’t very coordinated as well Jane, to fire a weapon the opposite way around as well?

Hi Sami, Ive never fired one, everyone says the trigger was easy to pull, yet I’ve read on forums the 525 was a heavy pull trigger?  Any idea mate, here’s one

I loved it, but it had the worst trigger of any gun I've ever owned! It was accurate enough at 50m, but the God awful trigger (Which I never really got 100% used to) stopped any decent groups being shot.
i couldnt say rj,ive never fired a rifle.i have fired a shortened shotgun ,revolver, and hand gun on full auto and semi auto.its a shame our american cousins are not interested in this case,as they would know the ins and outs of that rifle

Thanks Sami, Scipio was from America and he dismisses that Sheila was the killer.

She certainly did, RJ. In fact, had she been taking an exam, I'd have felt inclined to say it was someone else's work!

good point rj also the trigger would have been an arms length away so she would have to hold the rifle with one hand at the barrel to correctly place the shot to the neck all while shes reaching away from herself with the other hand to be able to push the trigger not easy.would be interesting to know the weight of that rifle rj

yes jane the full auto would have made it a lot easier for him as he could group his shots to the vitals on a body very quickly and easily

Freddy didn't think she had trouble with co-ordination. He said she did things slowly but she had no trouble picking things up, etc.

He wanted a fully automatic 'shot gun' - imagine the mess that could make?

That's in conflict with how she would have needed to be to be responsible for the deaths and it does suggest that she had to concentrate to perform tasks.

Sami, THIS is exactly the point I've been trying to make since being told what she was supposed to have done.

There's greater distance from the business end to the trigger, than from the butt to the trigger, so where/how would she have needed to have held the gun to fire it into herself, and surely pushing a trigger is an alien concept to pulling a trigger.

How would she have managed to keep it steady in order to take the shot, bearing in mind she'd have had no control of the weight as the heavy end was furthest away? Would that not have caused it to drop? All this to cope with and she still has to push the trigger. The closer I look at it, the more impossible it seems to become.

I was always under the impression People with schizophrenia can be clumsy and uncoordinated Kaldin, I thought this was part of the illness?  I suppose it doesn’t affect everyone though?
