It's clearly about Julie Mugford.  ::)
the in denial woman that her boyfriend was guilty of a crime despite being given a running commentary of what he intended to do, only hours later???
If yesterday you hated me. Then today you can not stop the love that binds from me to you. And you to me

NGB how credible is the evidence you have seen regarding Julie Mugford agreeing to the money on a guilty verdict pre-trial?

The proof is in the form of a dated document relating to the NoW contract.  This obviously was not available at trial or at either of the appeals.  I have not seen this but have been informed about it by a very reliable source.

Be that as it may, Julie had already given her statement. The dye was cast, so to speak. As with most contracts, there'd have been terms and conditions attached. It stands to reason that NOTW wouldn't cough up for an innocent verdict -the story would have been of no interest to anyone- but how would Julie be capable of ensuring a guilty verdict? Okay, so she cried. Was that going to sway a jury? Not if it had been made up of those like posters here who believe her tears were fake.

She's the one who knows so what's so difficult about that ? Those who stand for the prosecution are the accusers---------aren't they ?

Why would she, unless she was asked the direct question? I don't recall anywhere in her statement which said such. All she did was repeat what he told her.  She couldn't say more that that, could she? As you know without being constantly reminded, she wasn't there, so instead of blaming her, why not blame the jury for choosing to believe that what she said had "the ring of truth about it"?

JM 's told everyone else so why not the court when at trial ? Did the defence ask her and that's when she broke down because she couldn't give a straight answer ? She was the proof that he'd done it so why doesn't she come clean ?

If I knew 100% that someone was a killer, I'd name them, so would everybody else I'd assume.

No, no, no! You're choosing to put words into her mouth. "JM's told everyone else................"? WHAT exactly are you claiming JM's told everyone else? I VERY much doubt the defence would have asked SUCH a stupid question. The immediate response, from the other side, would have been that they were asking the witness to speculate. She was ever only proof that he'd claimed to want to kill the family.

Sorry but I'd be incensed if I'd known and wouldn't be able to keep something like that to myself-----maybe you're different and wouldn't let on. In other words you'd cover for a murderer.

Unless you'd witnessed that kill, there's no way you could be 100% certain of who'd carried it out. Having a gut feeling carried no weight in a court of law.

She either knows or she doesn't but either way she'd be in the manure.
