Radcliffe's are highly reputable gun-smiths. I'm perfectly certain that this wasn't an anomaly unique to the Bamber gun. Many would have been sold, so I imagine it's idiosyncrasies would have been reported.

Yes, reported to those in the know, but Sheila wasn't to know and obviously neither was Jeremy as he hasn't even mentioned anything about its workings, not even to bolster his own situation.
Come to think, EP can't know a lot either.

I doubt that. I've stood in Radcliffe's long, boring hours, listening to them explain, lovingly, about certain models. That Jeremy has never mentioned it isn't an indication of him not knowing.

To be fair, was Taff not in a hurry to be somewhere else?
Apparently Sami, he didn’t go until about 2 and a half days after the investigation.

To defend Taff Jones here he played golf at the weekend and why shouldn't he in his leisure time after experiencing the horrors of White House Farm midweek?

He didn't appear to have had an interest in guns, as the new rifle belonged to his father and the only time it probably came out for an airing was when AP called at the end of July which saw Jeremy probably boasting about the rifle to AP. He would not have known of its sensitivities.

Strange that it's said he had no interest in guns after having won prizes for marksmanship at school, and requesting the purchase of the type of firearm best used in war-like conditions. I believe he accompanied his father to Radcliffe's when the rifle concerned was purchased. We can't say Jeremy hadn't previously used it, although at the time he was trying to persuade Sheila to pay attention to how it was loaded, he may not have. He certainly had every intention of blasting bunnies...................had there actually been any. Of course, it may have just been that he wanted to leave it where he could report it to be in Sheila's sight.

he grew up on a farm, there's a fine line between " active interest" and " taking part "

Imagine shattered vertebrae, trying to flex a digit, what the pull on the neck would be like. Would she even be able to control her fingers?

very similar to the hearty breakfast enjoyed by Jeremy Bamber when in reality it was microwaved bacon between two slices of bread ....

No worse than the Australian Premier going off on his holidays while his country is burning.

Isn't it strange that Lookout claims that Sheila, who had no interest in guns, was capable of killing the entire family, but Jeremy couldn't because he had no interest in guns :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\
