JB would obviously have taken the opportunity to phone JM when he couldn't get back through to his dad. Didn't that strike you at all ? No, I can harp on abut quite a few things but happy with this at the moment. It wasn't just that that convicted him. On it's own, it's suspicious but with all the other little coincidences it's damning!

But it probably helped. I'm willing to bet that the jurors wouldn't have looked favourably on someone who idled away time, and phoned their girlfriend whist a family member was potentially being murdered.
