I had someone really interesting contact me last night called Warwick who used to do crop spraying at the farm. He originally came from New Zealand and knew Jeremy and Neville well. Completely different impression of Jeremy that the relatives try to give of him.

Jackie you'd be surprised at the amount of people who say that it was an unfair trial. Many of my daughter's acquaintances in Oz say the same.

Truly strange, though, don't you think, that after 34 years, someone crawls out of the woodwork to contact, NOT someone in authority, but a.n.other, just to say he wasn't as "the family" described him. That he wasn't with "the family" when he was in NZ, seems to be neither here nor there. Sounds rather like the serendipitous meeting with a paramedic who just happened to have been at the scene.
