Okay. What I THINK he means -and I go along with the theory- is that Jeremy has probably laid off attacking Julie because if he'd rubbed her up the wrong way, she MIGHT have revealed things that could have left no doubts about his guilt. Hope I've read you right, Steve. I'll also add that I imagine there too have been rather more in the way of pillow talk between then than Julie revealed. I don't think Jeremy would want that to come to light. Having said that, I very much doubt that Jeremy's correspondence with Julie had any longevity about it.
i disagree Jane. Because I think if that was the case the truthful Julie would have hung him out to dry with every little detail she had as soon as she spoke to DS Jones. It would of course, be the correct and proper thing to do wouldn't it? And as in regards to rubbing her up the wrong way. He had already done that to her by pleading not guilty hadn't he? If Jeremy Bamber had been found innocent she would have had a reputation in tatters and so forth.in reference to the pillow talk there's not much more she could have said in my view to damage Jeremy further in reference that he had supposably been telling her for months that he was planning to kill his family and then ultimately did so.

It's in his handwriting though. How shocking and puts the crimes in the right context.
almost shocking as the women who continuing to share a bed, be intimate, go on holiday with, enjoy Chinese meals, enjoy beanos, and being in the same vicinity of a man who had ADMiTTED that he was responsible.

But you're distorting the case because in this scenario Jeremy is guilty. Unfortunately this is something the Bamberettes fail to acknowledge for some reason.

Let's get this clear: we think Jeremy committed the murders. If that's the case Julie takes some of the blame. However it's very difficult to construct a scenario where Julie takes blame for five murders if you believe Jeremy innocent. The Bamberettes are treading on eggshells and they must know it.

That'll be the day when I tread on eggshells. I've never done it, never had to do it and have no intention of  ever doing so.

She did, though not in the first statement made on the date after the murders. As we are not women we can't understand every little nuance of their personalities.

Yeah, Jeremy wrote it in his usual capitals.

What's that got to do with anything ?

I agree. What more could she possibly say?

Well it's my belief that Julie was infatuated. I suppose men can be also but doesn't this tend to be unwanted attention or lead to stalking rather than the unconditional love Julie proffered Jeremy?

I'm sure JB's legal team will be faffing over JB's writing. Is that an offence too ?

I'm not distorting anything. The note from Bamber either has two meanings. He is like you state ( if guilty) showing complete callousness by leaving a memorial card on a wreath to two little boys who he himself killed. Or if he is innocent it's a memorial card from a grieving relative....you can't really build on the scenario of the memorial card anymore

not saying Jane is meaning this. But there's a theory that people who write with capital letters are " closed books " and cannot show emotion. It's a flawed one at that. I know plenty of people who do ( myself included) it's just a style or writing that's it

I thought this was a discussion forum. It'd be a bit one sided with just Jerry lovers.

Isn't that what you're doing? I thought you would recognise his writing?
