Sheila as evidenced by photographs on the site has two bullet wounds to the neck. I beleive there are also some photographs and diagrams with direction arrows superimposed.
Naturally there will be a time delay between the two bullet wounds being inflicted.
The second bullet wound was fatal, probably instantaneously, with the bullet lodging in her brain having entered her body under her chin. This being evident by the photoraphs mentioned above. The bullet travelled in a direction from where it had caused the bullet wound under the chin to where it was found lodged in her brain at autopsy.
This direction for the trajectory of this bullet will be consistent with the gun from which the bullet was discharged being in the same alignment whether a contact wound shot or from within a few inches etc. This direction indicates the gun position being more or less parallel to her body at the time the bullet was dischared / fired.
The first bullet wound was not fatal with the bullet lodging in her neck muscle tissue having entered her body from the side of her larynx / throat. This again being evident by the photographs mentioned above. The bullet travelled in a direction from where it has caused the bullet wound to the side front of the neck to where it was found lodged towards the back of the same side of neck muscle tissue at autopsy.
The direction for the trajectory of this bullet will be consistent with the gun from which the bullet was discharged being in the same alignment whether a contact wound shot or from within a few inches etc.
This direction indicates the gun position being more or less horizontal to her body at the time the bullet was discharded / fired.
Can anyone provide a logical and reasoned explanation for this anomaly?
