What are you talking about? How is he trying to break up the family?

You know what? If Julie hadn't covered up for Jeremy, maybe there wouldn't be all these appeals - there would have been more evidence in the house for a start because the police wouldn't have cleaned up.

Perhaps you weren't here when it occurred, but a one time member -a Jeremy defender- bragged about the Canadian authorities having been alerted about her involvement in the case, allegedly resulting in her being questioned. She's married. She has children. She has a position of some standing within the community. It was felt they had the right to know what sort of person she was. I have no way of knowing how much of the story is the truth.

She has already come back to England once, the recent publicity would rake the whole thing up again and now the Bamber legal team are hitting below the belt.

I'm disgusted Jeremy's legal team has nothing better to do than hound a happily-married woman who has happened to make a success of her life overseas since the tragedy. Everyone involved in this campaign should hang their heads in shame.

That is very unfair.  On any view. Bamber guilty or innocent, Julie Mugford comes out of this extremely badly.  I can tell you with confidence that even the family agree with this.

Steve UK and I have forum history on this Lookout.  I try to stay neutral as a forum administrator and I accept that Steve is liked and respected by many here on both sides.  However if you search back over nearly 8 years you can see I have clashed with him on several occasions.  He has attacked me personally in the past.  He annoys me intensely I am afraid and sometimes I have to fight back.

NGB has nothing to do with Bambers representation and if he does everyone deserves a defence.  I think Bamber guilty, but I’m not happy with Julies part in it and she has a lot to answer for.

RJ, I doubt ANYONE here thinks Julie shines brightly in this. She may have told SOME of the truth but I don't think she told ALL of the truth.

My thoughts as well Jane, I’ve tried to picture her as my daughter or Grandaughter.  She had a choice to get out of a bad relationship where a lot don’t, she was fully aware what Bamber was up to and chose a moment to grass him up when it didn’t suit her.  I think a lot of what she says is the truth, but she plays down her part in it.
