They were family and his Mother and June were close. He had no reason to lie about what Nevill did before going to bed - it's not like he used it to strengthen his case against Jeremy.

I'm not sure why it is you can't grasp that he obviously CHANGED into his pyjamas after having a shower. I haven't written a full scenario this evening so how do you know what it does or doesn't entail? There is nothing I have said that doesn't allow Nevill to change into his pyjamas. But just to clarify!

The bit you seem to be having problems with, without someone spelling it out for you - is that he took them into the shower WITH HIM. Kaldin was easily able to understand that - you were not. How did he change before he returned from where?

I think Caroline's idea is that he had a shower and changed into his PJs in the shower room before going upstairs.
