Sheffield is built on 7 hills, which is close to the Peak District of Derbyshire. It is more of a modern city, with glass buildings and looks rather strange alongside the more architectural old buildings, which are pleasent to look at. 

Sheffield was a thriving city at one time and produced the finest steel....but, sadly all the steel works have gone and so unemployment in the city became rife.......The city is slowly losing it's shopping traditions and, most large shops have been closed....It is a city for the young and comes alive at night time......The city provides fantastic leisure facilities......

I live about 9 miles form the place...I dislike city life, I am more at home in the country.....
