4 miles on the clock, the inclusion of numerous bottles of unopened Molton and Brown toiletries and guides to motorhome tours of parts of UK and Eire that obviously don't have any bearing on SNP business, along with all the other purchases using SNP funds, suggest to me PM had/has emotional and psychological problems and there were problems in the marriage.  It seems to me to go beyond greed and a sense of entitlement.  I don't think NS knew about any of it.

It would be good to see what psychiatrist Raj Persuad makes of it in his 'Shrinking The World' podcast!
Sorry I read it wrong Cutie 🙈

Thats right, ditched her husband and ditched Scotland, runaway to the Country she tried her hardest to break from.  After all those years arguing Scotland would be better off apart from England, England suddenly seems a perfectly acceptable refuge.
You have to consider the position she's now in. She can't really go anywhere socially being so high profile and tainted with guilt by association. Scotland is a small country with a small population.

Of course, I'm not by any stretch of the imagination as famous as Nicola. But sometimes one needs a fresh start, a new place to make new friends, or just walk around town in comparative anonymity without being approached by figures one may once have known professionally or socially.

More muckraking on the way. Nicola's lawyer confirms she "settled bills for charges incurred", and also interrupted the trip to conduct SNP business.  https://www.eriska-hotel.co.uk/
