just to clarify;

Saturday 7th September 1985 - Jeremy tells Colin about the explicit pictures of Sheila.
Sunday 8th September  1985 Jeremy is arrested (and detained for 5 days) on suspicion of murdering his family
Monday 9th September DB calls Colin (DB called Coin to tip him off about a news story of Jeremy's arrest)
Friday 13th (apt), Jeremy is bailed
Monday 16th September 1985 - Meeting with Fielder takes place about the photographs
Tuesday 17th September 1985 The Sun article is published.

how does david boutflower the there was going to be a story in the sun the next day about jeremy.

why is he so keen for colin to read it.

and why doesnt he just tell colin the news instead of expecting him to read the paper.

The family was aware of Jeremy's arrest (he wanted them to bail him out) and knew such was going to be reported by the press so told Colin to make sure to pay attention so that he would not miss it.

Of course the family would have known, not sure why people are trying to make this into a conspiracy. Given that the family had been making statements in respect to their suspicions, they were part of the process that led to his arrest. A story as big as Bamber being arrested couldn't be kept out of the press for long - obviously DB and the family would know it was about to hit the headlines and so he called to warn Colin. Simple, no conspiracy!

My propaganda war? You and a few others are the propaganda peddles. You're doing it now with the pretence that you're party to info the rest of us don't have - which is BS!

A bit cheap of you to accuse anyone else of propaganda. The false claims you've made out about this case stack up to the ceiling.  ;D

If Jeremy was truly innocent there would be something - and it wouldn't have to be made up!  ::)

Lookout, whilst the pretence and BS may NOT be yours, they ARE someone's and because NONE of the authors from whom you get your information -in preference to reading the wealth of it here- knew the Bamber family personally, it's HIGHLY likely that they embroidered their stories to make them sell. Who is there to contradict what they write?

My argument was that as families,the Boutflours didn't know the Bambers,or what went on within those walls at WHF,so therefore would not have been aware of the severity of Sheila's illness or what it entailed. Yet they spouted chapter and verse about two siblings who they didn't know and people believed them ?
