Surely the recent two confessions will have a profound effect on his parole hearing. I my opinion they will have to consider
why Simon confessed to the two crimes and the state of his mental health along with whether or not he will be threat to society if he was to be released.
I know it has been said that this confession will not effect the release, but in my opinion something is not right if they do not consider the above and his mental state and the reasons behind his confession.
We are not privy to what is happening nor can we see what state of mind Simon is in, nor do I think he is ready for release in the next couple of years. Its a flipping short sentence for stabbing a 79 year old defenceless woman, who was a close friend of his mothers. I don't know what to make of it all....
